Lee
Muralist. Printmaker. Visual Artist.
As a horseman of 15+ years and someone who’s recently grown an interest in conservation, I want to become an artist who brings awareness to climate issues. I want to make education toward these important issues more digestible.
Most of my work currently focuses on these vibrant and mystical equines, with references used from wild horse photographers. These herds of horses they photographer have either already lost their lives or are currently fighting for it because of government operations trying to clear land for cattle and farming.
I want my subjects to broaden to more endangered species such as bison, condors, and even the wild story of a Russian scientist, Sergey Zimov, who is trying to bring mammoths back to preserve the permafrost.
About
Lee (they/them) was born in Prague and raised in San Francisco, two cities filled with artistic energy. Besides being strongly inspired by my background in working with horses, I’m also very inspired by my love for urban rollerblading and interest in street art culture. They currently reside in Austin, Texas, where they have found a community of talented muralists they have been learning from.
