Lee Katz is a Prague-born, west coast raised Muralist and Illustrator currently based in Austin, Texas. They are a young emerging artist with a focus on murals, their concepts inspired from their background in working with horses for 15+ years and the international skating community they were raised in. As they break into the mural industry, they want to push their concepts towards work that brings awareness to conservation efforts. 

Lee’s street art concepts are inspired by their strong background in urban skating, specifically rollerblades. They eventually want to work with the skate community of Barcelona and the coolest skaters that have taken over Barcelona streets. From their work with horses, Lee has loved exploring their own fantasy style with them, creating their own design, the dragon-equine. Inspired by these creatures, they have also enjoyed studying their atmosphere/background, referenced primarily by Scandinavian landscapes, specifically the Faroe Islands. 

While building out their portfolio and practice in Austin, they are also currently working on connecting more with the art community of Prague to potentially paint some walls and collaborate with the locals. Connecting and working with Czech artists, making a mark in the city, would fill that hole they have felt in their life.
